Celebration of Reading!

We are SO proud of our young readers that we wanted to celebrate TOGETHER! We had an ALL Kindergarten Buddy Reading session outside to show off our new reading skills.

We loved hearing the new book from the author, Bess Kalb.  Buffalo Fluffalo and Puffalo was so funny!

 

Skittles, Stuffies, and LIGHT!

 

We were excited to have guest readers in class this week!

Phonics practice builds an important foundation for reading and writing!

Skittles made for delicious math!  Sort, count, record, and compare!

Each morning we read our ABC Chart.  Today we took our stuffies to ABC School and taught them about letters and sounds.

Our shoebox experiment helped us to prove that light helps us to see.  The more light = the easier it is to see!

Flashlights provide light that helps us to see the pictures in our books. We can't wait to explore more about light in science next week!
